40 1979 ford f150 4x4 front axle diagram
Bought this rig from the OO last year. While up on our property yesterday, I had to use 4x4 for the first time. HI 4x4 and LOW 4x4. I could feel the transfer case connect up, both HI AND LOW. But no power to the front axle. The transfer case appears to be working. Go into N, hit the button, you can feel the transfer case connect up. Same in LOW. This Explorer has automatic hubs.
