East Coast Main Line diagram. The East Coast Main Line is a major trunk railway in the United Kingdom, linking London with Edinburgh. A detailed diagram of the line is housed on this page for technical reasons. There were many lines connecting with collieries etc. branching off the ECML. From my understanding, if a vector is pointing 45° from north, that means it represents a velocity of c. I also understand that time is essentially stopped for objects traveling at c. However, if the vector has a t component that's greater than zero (as is the case with the vector of a photon), doesn't that mean it is still travelling through time? Is there some kind of relativistic shenanigans going on that I don't understand, or am I just misinterpreting the diagram? Thanks in advance!
