Lyman 48 parts interchangable? I bought a Springfield M1922 M2 that has the Lyman 48C rear sight. However, it is missing the "windage parts" (end cap, windage knob, windage screw, etc.). There is a Lyman 48M (the Mauser variant) available on e-Bay. Does anyone know if the windage parts are interchangeable amongst the Lyman 48 variants?

Given the video and parts diagram posted above, my guess is your problem is where 2, 6, and the bolt are interfacing when you try to lift the bolt handle against spring tension. It looks like that part cams against the firing pin spring pressure when you open the bolt.
